Good morning everyone.
Today is the big day. Attempt #3 to fix this hernia. I think it's at it's largest now (13" x 11"). This will most likely be the last attempt regardless of what happens so I'd really appreciate it if everyone would keep me in their thoughts and prayers not just today but for the months ahead. The last attempt appeared to be successful until about 6-8 weeks post-op. No surgeon would want to go in there a fourth time.
Bill has to have a laser thing done to his eye at 9. We're going to try getting there at 8:30 and hope they take him a few minutes early so we won't be so pushed for time to get to St. V's Carmel. I'm to be there at 10:30. Fortunately, Bill's is only suppose to take 15-30 minutes and he's suppose to have improved vision immediately afterward and not have to wear a patch over his eye.
Okay...gotta go put a blurb on MySpace & Facebook. Tiffany will be contacting a few people from the board with updates so they can update you all.
