Seems odd for 2 1/2 years post op....
I'd recommend you contacting your surgeon's office. He will probably want an endoscopy performed. It could be an ulcer but it kinda sounds like a stricture to me. The best thing, especially if it is causing discomfort, is to have them scope you and take a look around. Strictures and ulcers can take place at any part of your journey. Yes, most commonly early out, but certainly not exclusively. If you begin to have problems keeping your food/liquids down, make that call to your surgeon sooner than later so that you don't become dehydrated.

It sounds like you and I might have a similar situation. I have noticed in the last 2-3 weeks that I am not getting in what I used to be able to. I was getting in about 8 ounces but lately I start feeling the full uncomfortable feeling at about 5 ounces and the nausea and pain at about 6 ounces. Though I am not complaining. I got down to where I wanted to stay but I then had some of what I have heard referred to as "Gain Back". I am now about 10 pounds heavier than I want to be although everyone tells me that I am now TOO THIN!!! I want to be 130-135 and have been maintaining at 142-145 and am 5'5" Oh well as long as I don't go over 145 I suppose it will be OKAY. I have been working out at the YMCA a lot and have gained some rigid muscles in my legs and arms.
