Good morning all...
Sorry that I haven't been real good this week at starting the morning post. I do hope you all have had a good week.
My week ended up good with me getting a surgey date to get the hernia fixed...again. For you new folks, In Sept. 2006, I had a full abdoplasty & thigh lift done. I ended up getting 2 blood clots..one in my lung, one in my leg. 4 days after my surgeyr though, I was diagnosed with pnumonia (I guess because of the spot on my lung) and was admitted. The respritory doc kept trying to make me cough (to get up the flem..which I never had any of) and that would cause the wire from the abdoplasty to bounce on my intestines and hurt like hell. That got them irritated & swollen. With being swollen, they managed to cut off their blood supply..to all of them. It was either a choice or trying to get the bllod to flow through all of them again..or remove all of them. A coma was induced and they were pulled out of my body. It worked..as far as getting the blood to flow again. While in the coma, that is when the clots were discovered. Because of my abdominal wall being opened up, I got a huge hernia. This surgery on Dec. 1st will be the third attempt to close it up (plus another surgery to try to close up the holes that an infection caused in my stomach). The hernia is from the bottom of my sturnum to the top of my pelvis bone (13") and accross all of my stomach (11"). So...can use everyone's prayers that this attempt will be successful. If it's not, I will probably be told to just live with it the rest of my life. That's not something I'm mentally prepared to hear.
Tomorrow is suppose to be my last day at work for the year..then vacation is suppose to start. Okay...so I'll actually be able to use about 9 days of vacation as true vacation and the rest will be medical. Oh well. If I can't see the emplyee health doctor tomorrow though, I'll probably just stay 1/2 day and come back in when he's going to be there. We have two but I can't stand one of them. I will be put on a permanent weight restriction of 10 lbs. Fortunately, my boss has already let me know that will be no problem.
I still have the pampered chef party open. I'm not closing it until the end of the month. I put the link in a previous post. The special this month is 20% off the Simple Additions line of serveware & barware. I dont have any of these pieces yet..guess it's a good time to start building on it! LOL!

Good morning or afternoon everyone,
been a little while since I been online, been having trouble with blood clots and my esophagus keeps closing. had to have two scopes done and getting ready to have it dialated again. both is not related to my weight loss surgery though. I been hospitalise twice for the clots but got it under control now. getting ready for the Colts game tonight !!
