made it!
I've tried both and I think that the chews are better. I like lemon flavored the best. They taste like a lemon starburst to me and it's nice because I actually feel like I'm eating something that isn't the consistency of mush. However, I believe that the chews are more expensive and I should be eating 7 of them a day for the right amount of calcium.
The sample pack that St. Vincent gives you at the Pre-Op class has a chocolate and a lemon in it. If you do decide to buy the chews, a tip....purchase them at the store in St. Vincent instead of the bariatric advantage website so you don't have to pay for shipping.

I hope you are feeling better soon! Dr. Inman is going to be my surgeon too once I get a surgery date. Glad to hear you had a good experience with her. I am going to have a VSG... which is basically the first part of your DS. Did they do the whole DS for you in one surgery or did they just do the VSG and will do the Switch in another surgery? I heard sometimes they do the DS in two steps. Thanks for sharing your experience!
