Good morning all...

I'm spending yet another day at work going over data. Well..except for a meeting from noon-2 that NO ONE in the lab wants to go to. I'm leaving at 2:30 today though because Bill has an eye follow-up with Dr. Price. Then it's out till Monday!! I'll only have 5 days to go after today. Yaye!

what happens in 5 days? 
I am going to met some losers for lunch I was in the area last night... so i scoped out where it is..i think i will look on line at the menu.. i have never ate there...I miss chi-chi's though i know that...
love metting a bunch of losers...any more though i do not know anyone cos i have been so bad...and not sticking with the losers...
I call myself back with the bunch of losers though....
Hope BIll has a wonderful visit with the eye dr and never give up on a miracle..

Because of it being my 20th anniversary year with the company, I was able to get 3 extra weeks of vacation added to what I would normally have. I hadn't taken much of it this year. I was afraid to actually. So...I have 5 more work days (4 next week, 1 the next) and then I'm on vacation until January 4th or 5th. 6 wonderful weeks of vacation!!! Bill & I will be going to NAshville Indiana the week of Thanksgiving...and our anniversary. And on Dec. 1st, I'll be getting the girls done. Other than that, no big plans. It'll just be nice to be off an NOT be on medical leave.

Bill's one eye seems to be stable right now. That in itself is a miracle. He'll have to continue to have monthly follow-up's on it since it's an artificial cornea and he has high pressure issues.

I wish I could join you gals for lunch but Plainfield is a little far for me to sneak off to at lunchtime. I think I'd be missed. You girls have fun though!

wow...i can not wait to see those GIRLS...lol...awesome....my ***** butt just says no way...no thanks...if i were younger maybe...and sometimes i think yeah..but them naw....
wow you will be off that long with BILL...we may have to have a day away and get away from the men for a few hours ya know....think about it.....lol...
i am always up for a few hours away...

Love Nashville this time of the year. Hope your getting a cabin. Get the hot tub going outside on the deck and sit and relax.

For our 2nd anniversary, we had gotten a cabin complete with a fireplace and outdoor hot tub. The fireplace would only work one time that week. The hot tub...we froze. We are just too spoiled by having our indoor one. So...this year, we decided to get a room with a kitchenette near downtown.

That sounds wonderful Sherri! we had a great get away for my birthday and are going away for Thanksgiving- to KY. to see our daughter Penny & family for a few days. I just love the fall weather!!! Minn. was cold but we had such a great time visiting our kids. Pete even caught 10 trout! Plus, HE made me a 1/2 sugar cake & frosting- got to tell you, one sliver of cake and my tummy revolted- gas city!!!! 
I went to Dr. Gomez and really like her.After 4 yrs.I am still having great results on my blood tests!!My cholesterol is at a all time LOW~she said she'd NEVER seen such good results!!!  I lost 2#, and the only thing off was my Vitamin D. Going on prescription for 3 mo. then recheck. Other than that, I am doing great!!!  I had to talk with a PhD. about my feelings /thoughts about my results, surgery, etc. I tell you, I wasn't living before this- I only existed. My whole life has changed & I thank God every day for all the blessings I have recieved and friendships/family I have here.Have a great weekend everyone!
