Good morning!

So...we didn't plan to switch the clocks over until we got up this morning since we weren't going anywhere today that we need to be there at a particular time. Well....I woke up at '4:30'..which...I usually get up at 3:30 for work. I tried to go back to sleep since it's my day off. My stomach didn't cooperate and Lotus needed to go outside so..here I sit at my computer. I was on for a little while when I happen to glance down at the clock on it. It was 3:55 at that time! Which meant that I got up at 3:30!! On my day off! I guess my body & Lotus bladder knows, huh?

We had 59 Trick or Treaters last night. That was up from last year's 40. This year, they came in bunches..as in 10-15 per bunch! So really, I didn't have to go tothe door very many times but was there awhile each time. Lotus handled the kids at the door pretty good. Bill put a 10 foot leash on her and tied it to the coffee table. That way, she could sit in the livingroom with us but not be able to get to the door. The first few groups, she'd let out one bark to let us know the kids were there and then sit at attention as close to the door as the leash would allow. After that though, she laid down by my chair and jus****ched me give out the goodies. Yes, Lotus got a special treat for being such a good girl. (fyi..Lotus is our german shepard mix. She'll be 3 but we adopted her last December so this was our first Halloween with her.) Since it hasn't been that long that the grandkids had H1N1 and/or flu, Tiffany gave them a Halloween party instead of taking them out in the chilly air. I called over there and I could hear them having a blast. Tiff said that she had ran out of candy bags by 7:30 ...and she had made up 100 of them. I didn't run out. I think I might have 20 snack bars left and 20 juices. I'm bring them over to the grandkids today. That...and a special Halloween goodie. I always get them something that I don't give out to the other kids. This year, it's one of those huge rope suckers.

I hope everyone has a good day today. Now..it's time for me to go start changing the clocks from 5:40 to 4:40!

Good morning!    We had a cookout at a friend's house last night - one of Wally's old school buddies.  It was pretty fun, but cold!  Luckily, he built a huge bonfire, so I stayed close to it.

The only worry is that he lives way out in the boonies by Coal City - one lane gravel road.  I just knew a deer was going to jump out at us!  Luckily, we made it safely.

Whew - employee appraisals are done, so now I can not work quite as hard.  I worked yesterday to catch up what I'd had to let sit.  Poor Wally has to work today too - has to give a speech up at Keystone-at-the-Crossing.

Me - I'll be climbing Mt. Washmore.... ugh.

Good morniing all. The time change didn't affect my kids, they still got up at their normal time. Craziness! Oh well. I work today from 11a-11p, so I'm trying to get a few things done around the house before I head out. Wonder how many candy induced stomache aches we'll see in the ER today? LOL.

Well I have alot to do today.
 I am gonna drop off the rest of my pc stuff. I finally got Alice's in and Jana since your Civic Duty has hindered you  this week. I am gonna just bring it to you. I will text you to find out where you are.lol

Halloween was fun. bella went out about an hour and she was done. Then we headed over to Dq. Kids cones is what you got if you were in costume.lol. But I had Halloween rice krispie treats to drop off to the kids that were working.

I need to get the Halloween decorations down today and put away. Terry was called into work $$$$$. he has finally gotten the gist of OVERTIME$$$$. Since my hours at Dq have been cut into nothing. I am gonna have to do something.(ie parttime job or hookin'..lol)
