Prayers for fellow IN loser.. Dawnyel, she was at the exchange

Dawnyel just called me a few minutes ago and their house is on fire. Her and her husband and 7 month old all got out and are safe but this just sucks. I don't know how bad it is I do know she said there were 4 fire trucks out there. I wish I could drive up to Greenwood tonight to be there for her but theres no way I can. Dawnyel and her family just moved to Greenwood Indiana a few months ago from California. She, her husband and mom all have had WLS.

I don't know if she has gotten the chance to actually post an introduction on the board yet because her and I mostly chat via the phone or text message.

What sizes do they need?? When you find out more info let me know.. I have a few household items too.. no big stuff like beds and furnature but I have dishes etc

I'm not really sure what they may or may not need yet. She texted me at 1 am and I asked if the house was totally gone and she said no so hopefully it is something that was contained quickly. I don't know yet what is going on she said she'd call me when they got up. Her mom moved here to Indiana with her but bought her own house so they stayed with her last night.

Misty, please post on here if they need anything. I have access to some things too. Mostly old college dorm furniture but it's cheap and sturdy....small kitchen tables, chairs, bunk beds, that sort of thing. I can usally get some clothing too so if they need any of that, please let me know.

Poor things...praying for the family. Glad they didn't lose everything.

Thank you soo much! I believe God heard our prayers because the fire was contained to their utility room pretty much (it did go up inside the wall and got their attic) . They will have to have the whole house rewired electrically and then have the wall in their utility room built again but they didn't lose anything and the rest of the house is okay.

I Met Dawnyel at the exchange. Glad to hear it wasn't a total loss. Sorry to hear anything bad though. Prayers out to her an dher family to help get things right.
