Hello everyone

Good Morning or late night, lol!

I am just getting in! Wanted to touch base and say hello to everyone! I sure wish that I could have made the clothing exchange! I miss seeing everyone and could use a little me time! Hopefully next time!

I had mentioned before that I had been working ALOT of hours and boy am I really now! Last Thursday I received the call from corporate offering me an acting RGM positin at another location that needed help immediately! I jumped on this opportunity and have been working everyay since! I know that i need to rest BUT I have to do what needs to be done to get this store back into shape and I truly believe that I cannot expect my crew to jump in with enthusiasm if they do not see their management team doing the same! When I went there they had 7 employees and need an 18 person roster filled- last sunday the shift supervisor shut down the drive thru and ran the store by herself, cook, prep and counter! Changes had to be made and quickly! So if anyone wants to stop by and say hello and enjoy some of the grilled chicken, I am now at 71st and Michigan Rd.! Today was another free sample day across the nation and we were really busy! My team pulled together today and had lots of compliments- that makes me happy and want to keep the momentum going!

I have missed so much on the boards, but I wanted you all to know that I think of you often and miss seeing you all and being a part of the get togethers!

Speaking of get togethers- my son has been nominated to go to Australia through the People to People organization and the trip will cost just under 5500.00 I am thinking of having a bowling event, donation type set up to help him raise money for his trip! Wondering how many might be interested in joining and attending! It would probably be set up similar to the last bowling event for Maggie with raffles and such, as well as socialization and fun, let me know what you all think! I have to make plans and get the ball going soon to come up with this much as I cannot afford to pay for this on my own, but would love for him to take part in such a wonderful chance of a lifetime!

Sherri - it has been crazy and our hours have not been matching, if you are able and wouldn't mind, could you deliver the apples to Halima @ PP? The number their is 541-9295, I think she is off on Tuesdays and fridays, at least she used to have a set schedule because she is a nurse during te day! Let me know, if not I can try to work something out but do not have a set schedule on the new cir****tances!

Congrats to Markie. Although Bill & I don't bowl anymore, we would be happy to come and participate at a bowl-a-thon for him. I can even try to think of a few things to donate for the raffle (apples or my nut mix maybe). Just let us know when. We're going to be out of town Thanksgiving week. If Tiffany is off, I know she and her family would be glad to come as well.

I don't know that I'll get a chance to run the apples to Halima (right now, I'm home & not going anywhere because of my dang stomach). You are welcome to give her our address & phone number and her come by for them. Bill is home during the day while I'm at work usually (just tell her to call first).
