Weigh****cher documentation count?
If you are asking will it cover for the six month pre op diet, I really don't think so. I am sure most insurances state they want a six month "medical" supervised diet. My insurance didn't require it, I have UHC.
My sis's insurance requires her to have the six month supervised weight loss attempt so she is in month four, the time really isn't that long and it has given her time to learn more about the surgery. You most likely will be able to work along with your surgeon of choice while on the six month pre op diet so when it is over you will be well along in the process. I know six months sounds like an eternity once we have made up our minds this is what we want but hang in there, it will be over before you know it.

33 lbs lost prior to surgery!
most ins co will not...years ago some were fudging these and getting approved...i remember this with cigna and how several did that at that time...and they really want resent weights...should you be denied and need to appeal then maybe send them...just in case but other wise i doubt it..i doubt it even as an appeal too though
It was listed as an approved thing with my insurance, which was M-Plan. But M-Plan is no longer in existance. It also had to be 6 months of RECENT documented weight loss attempts, so I doubt if '94-'95 would be of any real help.

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
