Good morning....

Back to work. It's another busy week planned to where I won't have a minute to call my own until Thursday (which is my Friday)...and only then if there aren't any meetings or other stuff to get in the way. I have 12 more training courses to go through, and a spreadsheet to complete for my boss..when I have time. Yeah. right.

Yesterday, we got everything out of the garden. I used the last of my onions, garlic, tomatoes, and sweet peppers to make a huge pot of chili. I think I just started a tradition! Use the last of the season's veggies to make the first of season's chili. It's sad though to think that another year's gardening is done.

Well..all have a good day!

Good morning -

It's back to work for me too.  It's going to be a looonnnggg week, and I'll be busier than a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest.  Employee appraisals are due, and I have 14 to write up, then must discuss in an one-on-one with each employee.  Then, I get to meet with my boss and have mine.  ugh.  Gotta fit all this in with all my other stuff I need to do this week.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.  Haven't seen any other posts from Robin, so I assume it is still on.

Have a great day!

I saw Robin last night.. She looks good. I told her I had to work so I wouldnt be making it to the exchange.. She is looking forward to seeing everyone... Baby is making her a little sore...  I remember those days!!! (30 years ago)

Hope everyone is remembering to bring a bag  of non parishables for the church pantry. They give to the needy, not just in their church but to the area needy and the extra clothes they give to people who need them...

I am really interested in some size 18 dress clothes.. skirt or dress for church....If anyone is interested in setting some aside for me I would appreciate it and would meet you somewhere...

I went from a size 32 to an 18 and just quit... I am not gaining or loosing BUT PRAISE GOD I AM STILL UNDER A 20!!!  I am 4 years out and I guess my body says my size 10 days are a memory....I AM HAPPY.. I AM Healthy.. I guess that is what counts..

I'm back to work after my long weekend in Kentucky.  We had a great time.  But it was good to get back to my own bed last night.

Lots to catch up on at work this week and I'm looking forward to the clothing exchange on Saturday.  See you all then.

Hey everyone. And happy 2nd trimester to me and baby bean!  :) What a milestone for us.

It's Monday and I again find myself caring for a sick 9 year old. Wondering how in the heck I'm supposed to keep him healthy all winter when he picks everything up. Not sure if he has the flu again or something else. Kinda acting like strep, but throat doesn't look bad. Rearranging my work schedule yet again (thank goodness for orientation).

Have a good day!

Hi Friends...

My family is having a hard time. Mikey broke down last week and was admitted to the Meadows hospital in Bloomington on Thursday. He's been there since then. They are considering him for residential again. I feel so worn down. I think he's having problems with meds, adjusting to middle school, and the culmination of this horrible year. I am hoping to be at the exchange though Saturday. I could use some fellowship.

Linda, I am so sorry to hear about your son.  You have to take care of yourself in this situation.  I have 3 daughters that are 3 years apart. When they were teens< starting in Middel School, we had terrible problems and stuggles with our oldest, which in turn caused problems for the next 2 because so much of our attention was on the oldest.  (she is Bi Polar)  I can only tell you that now my 3 girls are in their 30's.  They are not doing as well in their lives as I would wish for them, but they are all well and have beautiful children of their own (which I help raise on and off).  Live is Blessed.  No matter how bad it seems right now just make sure Mikey knows you love him now and forever.  Unconditionally.  I will pray for you and your family, especially Mikey-let him know he is not alone, even though I am sure he feels like no one has ever felt like he is right now.  The pain will pass and life will improve.

I am only one, But still, I am one.  I cannot do everything, but still I can do something.  And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do
the something that I can do.
