Almost Moving time..more questions!!!!!!! Plainfield area

Ok, So I promise this is the last time I'm going to ask!!!
 
We will be up in Plainfield all next week ( KY kids have a week off school for fall break) We'll visit schools, check out the area, etc...etc... My hubby will stay and start working  and the kids and I will return to KY to tie up some loose ends before we stay in the plainfield area permanently.

Ok, so which Bariatric Surgeon would you recommend?? I am a lapband patient. I've been reading reviews online and there are so many..lol

Support Groups??? Where/when?? I need them BADLLLLY!!!!

Sandy! Would love to meet you when you're in town next week if you have time. GIve me a call 317-745-6979. As for surgeons, not sure. I see Dr. Evanson with St. Vincent but their office is not convenient for people who live in the Plainfield area (it's way up North). I know Dr. Mattar is at Clarian and that's much closer for you and I know people love him. As for support groups, if you pick a St. V's surgeon, I got to a support group in Plainfield at a church off of Dan Jones Road. But if you pick Dr. Mattar, you'll have to ask his patients about support group locations.

I know we are staying near the Metropolis mall in some apartments..lol... Can't remember the exact name, but I'd love to meet for lunch...and my husband will be working during the days so it will be just me and the kids....so it will have to be a kid friendly place..lol

Sandy, I work Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday but Monday or Thursday would work. We could do Chick Fil A or Mc Donald's right there by Metropolis. Let me know what day would work best for you and I"ll put you on my calendar!!

Congrats on your move. You will love it here. I am on nights next week so i could meet for lunch,too. I love chick fila and the playground there is awesome. My son works at the Claddagh there at the mall. They have amazing food there as well.
The closest cenetr is Clarian. The hold a lapband support group there seperatley so you don't have to listen to info that doesn't pertain to you. I am a Dr. Mattar girl but any doc there would be awesome. The support you get there is amazing. There is a support group every week and sometimes 2. Gyms in the area: The Sports Plex in Plainfield, Plainfield Gym and there is the Recreation Center which is gorgoeus and has the water park outside and indoor pools and gyms and walking trails and the are working on a 10 field sports complex somewhat across the street.

We actually ate at the Claddaugh tonight..It was great!

I think tomorrow I'm going to walk over the mall with the kids., maybe check out the schools... etc..

I did check out the Recreation Center.. WOW thats beautiful I think once we get here permanently... I'll join..However I haven't checked out the other places yet.>LOL
