DS surgery and Dr. Margaret Inman???

Hello to all of you....
     I am new on here...just starting the WLS trek. I have a meeting down in Carmel, IN...on the 8th...for the orientation to different types of surgeries...etc. I'm pretty sure I want to go for the DS...  I have alot of weight to lose. I've had weight issues beginning around 8 years of age. I had health issues...i had to take steroids...etc. Wasn't allowed to run or do alot outdoors...and so...the lack of exercise/activity has carried on to my adult life.  I've averaged about 8 lbs a year....since I married...it all adds up doesn't it?
     I'm wondering if there are any people on here that have gone through the DS, with Dr. Inman. I've read some good reports on her...
     Learning alot reading on the forums...and the different websites that some have suggested....
     If anyone has some tips for me....please feel free to share! I need all the help I can get.... 
      Also...thank-you to all of you that post "before" and "after" pics...and the "in-between" pics too. They are such wonderful motivators....

I had Dr. Inman for a RNY. She is a good surgeon. I believe she's the only one doing DS in Indiana, so I heard.

While I did not have DS, I did have Dr Inman.  She is the BEST!

Make sure they know that you are interested in the DS b/c I kind of was in the beginning and when I went to the orientation they didn't even discuss DS.  I think you have to be specific about that when you make your appointment for the DS. 

I had a consult with Dr. Inman and I like her.  But I went with Dr. Husted due to price (I'm self pay and he is about 10000 cheaper )

Theres a support group at 6:30 the last Tuesday of every month.
