My advice...... Get rid of that scale!  This early out you dont need it.  The less you weigh in the more impressed you will be when it does fall off.......and it will.  I would only weigh in at the DR office.  I knew there was no way in heck I was going to gain weight the first 6 months so I never even looked.  Now I weigh in every day ( twice a day sometimes!)  just because I like looking at the number on the scale.  You will get there.......and it will be so worth it.

Keep you chin up and keep venting here we will listen..

Kim

Another tip.....look at all the before and after pic on here, it will be real inspriation for you.  Check mine out on my profile :)

Takeit from the big girl i hear where you are coming from..
I was in the hospital for 13 days so they made sure i got my exercise and done everything by the book at this point i had been like 23 days out of surgery and hardly lost anything ..
Then boom it was like magic the numbers started dropping..

Stay away from the scales they are evil...

Hang in there sweetie it will happen ,they say a watched pot never boils...

Pam, you have a weight loss pattern, your body knows what it is doing.  I promise if you write it all down you will see a pattern developing.  For me my pattern was lose one week a month the other three weeks I stayed exactally the same.  It was that way for the first twelve months of my journey.

Say you only lose 12 pounds this month, and you continue that pattern, at the end of 10 months you will be down 120 pounds!!  HOLY COW girl, pick your chip up and relax, its happening for ya!!

33 lbs lost prior to surgery!

Pam!   First of all.... YOU ARE NOT A QUITTER!  I know better than that.  You fought too hard to get thru this process and you are not quitting!  For one, you can't actually quit ..... what's done is done.  And for Two... all you are experiencing is really quite NORMAL!

I would agree with all the suggestions above and add that you should take your measurements.  It will help you get thru this kinda thing.  You body isn't always losing pounds because it readjusts things... as you are losing fat... you are toning up muscle and you will see your measurements change to the good.

Most of all, keep your chin up and know that you are gonna make this happen and you can do it!

Make some stickers for your fridge and your mirror... write on them one positive thing you did today and one thing positive that has made you smile or laugh.   Each time you go to the bathroom, read them again.... each time you go to get your water bottle... read them again... keep adding to them and reading them.  Positive energy is important!!!

I love ya girl!!!  Love yourself and don't let those silly hormones ruin this for ya!

Pam --
LISTEN to me.   I thought I was going to be the first person who would have this surgery and NOT lose weight.  Like several people said above ---you cannot eat whatever you want, you have the stomach of a baby!!
My husband also had the surgery and said "Alisica --it is impossible that you have this surgery and NOT lose weight".  ((he was right))
In 6 months time I have lost 95lbs (this for someone who didn't think they'd lose weight ---C'mon)

We didn't gain our weight in a day and it's not going to come off in a day.  You need support and post your thoughts on here and get some words of wisdom.  YOU can and WILL do this.  YOU will NOT be a quitter!!    Keep you chin up and ask questions.  Call you Dr if you need too!
