Ok Pammie - time for some tough love here.
You say you might as well eat... truth is, you CAN'T!! You have that baby belly that isn't going to let you eat.
You are NOT a failure! Stop that! You're going to make me drive up there and kick your patootie!!
Pam - yes, you've heard it all before. That's because we all went through that! You will come out the other side. Trust me, you are going to lose much, much more weight. We all go through that. Not to mention the meds that you are likely taking since your open heart surgery - that can also slow down your weight loss.
But you did have RNY. You WILL lose weight! Stick to the doctor's eating plan, and your body will have no choice but to lose weight.
Baby steps, grasshopper.... We love you....

I felt like it was never going to "fall off" then all of a sudden IT DID.. OMG you havent given it enough time to give up and like you have been told... you can eat... try it and I promise you will puke.. you will swallow something you shouldnt and you will HURT or dump or just wish you had listened to this welkl intended advice,.. and you are still so fresh out.. eatting might just rip a few staples..
It will be better I promise.. the first 3 months are the hardest to get a gfrip on your new life.. Did you want to be a size 10 after your first month... aint gonna happen unless you started in a 12.

The advice that everyone is giving is the truth. Give it some time, are you getting enough protein or are you eating enough, lack of both of these will also so down weight lose. Keep pushing girl, I will meet up with christy and both of us will come and kick your patootie. LOL.
Love you girl, keep pushing it will start coming off.
Hugs

Pam,
Back away from the scale. NOW.
Fat is melting from your body at this moment. I can tell from here. As fat melts it releases stored estrogen into your blood stream and causes all the feelings you have expressed here today.
Have someone hide your scale for the next two weeks, then you can have it back. You will be amazed at your progress. I promise!

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
