I have never gotten used to the taste of loratab... I put the loratab in the medicine cup and fill the rest up with cranberry juice or white grape juice... makes it so much easier to get down.. a nurse at St V showed me how to do it in the hospital..

Dr Gupta gave me a prescription for liquid pain med and my husband took it accross the street to a drug store and filled it, right then.  Also, take a pillow to fit between you and the seat belt.  It really helped cushion my tummy.  We stopped half way home at a truck stop so I could get out and walk.

Walk as much as you can - even short distances.  It helps with prevention of blood clots and helps with gas and bloating.

I used a childs sippy cup to take my water and proteins.  It helped me to sip and I would get up to fill it because of small quantity - it stayed colder.

Have SF popscicles.  Walmart has a bag of generic ones that have banana, coconut, raspberry, orange, grape and cherry.  Really good.

Come to support group meeting in FW.  They are well attended and very helpful.

Best wishes.  PM me if you have questions.  Penny

Penny-

Do you worry about taking in air with a child's sippy cup?
