Good morning all!

Today promises to be a busy day at work. That's ok..it's my Friday! I was informed right before I went home last night that I'm to run this lab model on Monday...which isn't set up! So...I have alot to do today thanks to that. And of course, every question I asked to help me figure out how to set it up? 'I don't know. I'll have to figure that out tomorrow.' I have a feeling he's going to cause me to have to come in on my days off. Ah well, Visa will be happy.

I hope you all have a good dy today. Johnna..I discovered Facebook too. I'm hooked on Farmtown & Farmville. Add me as a friend...(anyone else on there can [email protected]).

Morning all.  Haven't posted much lately - been suffering with bad headaches and facial pressure.  Sinus infection time.

Went to my PCP  - she said I just had headaches, and prescribed Darvocet.  That was Monday.   Well, still having them so I went to St. V's ER yesterday.  They correctly diagnosed sinus and ear infection.  Have a decongestant, antibiotic, and nasal spray.  Got to find a new doc - one that won't ask me "what can you take", knowing I'm not an MD, but will be familiar with the special needs of WLS patients.

anyway - got to make it through today and tomorrow, then here comes the weekend.  On second thought - my birthday is Sunday.  I don't want to rush that one!

Hi friends....

Just another Thursday for me. Nothing interesting. It's rainy here in Terre Haute. My birthday is coming up on 10-10. I don't know whether or not I'm looking forward to it. I want to have a party and then again I don't. I don't think anyone will much remember it anyway. Mikey's been having a hard time with middle school, and Mike's working hard to keep up with a full college class load. Maybe I'm just feeling pitiful today. I dunno.

Huge hugs for Linda and a prayer for Linda Kay.  I have been a little under the weather with sinus problems as well.  Feeling better and back to work today.  Hope all is well with everyone else.

Well after my turbolant(SP?) week, up & down, I'm glad I have things to look forward to at the end of this week. Quinn's 2nd birthday party is this Saturday but his actually birthday is the 29th. He's really learning to talk well, and his stories, explanations, and sentence structure cracks me big time. Still waiting to hear from the Oncology dept at St V's to get that ball rolling again. Then Dr Bergman's office called me later yesterday evening to let me know that I'm having my tummy tuck on the 8th. First thing that morning. 

So lots of things going on. Good & Bad!!!

Found a great inspirational cancer forum on FB & they have these awesome positive messages of the day they do. Even if you don't have cancer, I'd suggest joining their FB page just to get their daily positivity. They are called Cancer Warrior. Don't forget I'm on FB too if anyone would like to add me. 

When's the next get together?? Anyone know???

Sherri, I will add you and thanks. Get all that work done like a good girl (this coming from someone who is unemployed) ha! Christie, I’m glad you finally got some medicine and a proper diagnosis. I have been battling sinuses for the last freakin month grrrrrrr. Just when I think I’m over it, it comes back. It’s zapped my energy and caused me to get off my program. I must rise above it. Kind of hard to do when my ass is in bed all day long! GOOD LUCK Linda Kay!! Happy early birthday Linda!! Have that party girl, your worth it and besides a party is just a good way of having fun for everyone. As far as pity days go… we all have them and need them. I think its part of life like tears cleanse the body and the soul. I admire you Jo, you are such a source of strength. Happy birthday to Quinn. My grandson is 2 and so damn cute!!   Have a great day everyone.
