Has anyone met with this resource?  I believe his name is David Creel and his services are considered part of the program just like the nutritionist and there is not a charge.  I schedule a meeting with him next week and wanted to know if anyone has done this.  Any feedback would be appreciated.  I am hopeful that he can help me break through my plateau.

Please post your results.  I'd like to know what he has to say and can offer.
Thanks,
Duane

I met with him Monday, not necessarily about exercise (this guy spent a lot of time in school lol). The dietitian got him when I got upset over weight gain and because of my eating disorder and he is also a psychologist. He is a real sweetheart!!! I think you'll like him.

Let me know too please? I am unemployed now and my husband works over in Carmel so, I could always come in with him and use the car for the day and go meet him too. I need some serious physical therapy and so many things hurt on me that I just haven't sought out exercise now and my weight loss has STOPPED!!
Thanks and good luck!
Be Well  : )

I know Dave really well.  He use to lead our monthly support groups at St. V's back in the days in 2000 and 2001.  Then he went back to school.

Then I met up with him again in 2008.  He was my teacher in my grad group I attended for 6 weeks.  These are lead by a psychologist and cost about $150 to $180.  (If anyone is interested).  They have them every fall.  At least 1 yr post op, very focused,, homework, a small group, & serious stuff.  This fall class already started.  Its being led by Dr. John Guare now.  Very educational and beneficial.  Back to the topic.

Dave Creel led my grad class.  He was very good although this class wasn't specifically about exercise.  After this class ended I met with him one on one for an exercise consult....

He was very thorough.  Geared it specifically to my needs and what I was able to do and not able to do.  He showed me several things with the exercise equipment.  He did some math calculations and told me what my heart rate should be etc.

I discussed with him that I have been discouraged because I had been in PT with tendonitis of the knee and my knee just has not been the same since I fractured the knee cap.  I have a good pedometer and he really liked it.  But I tend to overdo and think I can do what I did before the fractured knee cap and then I always relapse.

He took his time with me and he's passionate about exercise.  You guys would like him.
