Have a good day all!

We're suppose to get together for dinner with Tiff and gang to celebrate Shyanne's birthday but got a text from Tiff that she's having a heck of a toothache. Poor kid. The IU School of Dentistry said it'd cost her something like $15 grand to fix her mouth up...at THEIR rates. Can you imagine what it'd be at a regular dentist??? If anyone could use some good insurance, it's her.

Gonna run...

hugs!

Poor Tiff!  You know, untreated dental problems can cause serious health issues.  I've never understood why dental coverage is so crappy with most insurance companies!  We never had dental insurance at all till about 3 years ago - it wasn't offered.  And I work for the Feds.

Dental insurance companies make me wanna scream.  We have a limit of $1,500 a year they will pay, plus two cleanings a year.  I use that up by the end of Jan each years..ugh.

Hi friends,....

How are you all doing? I haven't posted much lately. I have been reading though. This has been a rough time. I have felt really down and not like doing much. I keep trying though.

I have gotten signed up as a Big Sister. My little sister is a sweet girl. I have been enjoying spending time with her. Today we were going to go to the Apple Butter Festival in Spencer, but it was RAINING!!!

Sherri, Tiffany might try looking for Donated Dental Services. It is a free dental service for people w/o insurance in Indiana. I don't remember the contact information though.

When Tiff went to IU dental, she thought it'd be `1-2 thousand to get hers pulled and dentures. Found out that she inherited my mom's jaw line...not having one. Mich of that $15 grand would be to builder her jawbone up so that they could keep the dentures in her mouth. I think she is going to apply for Wishard Advantage and see if they'd cover part of it. She had signed up quite ago from HIP but they never contacted her.

Shoot I was excited this year because my dental went from 750.00 to 1000.00 for the year coverage. I usually pick and choose what services I get done. My dentist is awesome of filling and fixing what he can to ge me by till next year.lol I have alot of temps in to get me by. Luckily I am the only one in the family with crappy teeth! They look good on the outside but crappy inside. I owe my dentist 400.00 after my last infection and I am all used up for the year. Praying I don't have any other problems till the end of theyear. :)
