What To Do

So, I have stopped the freaking out about my date, and now I am in total preparation mode.

I am making lists and getting things done before I head to the hospital.  So before you had your surgery, what did you do to prepare your house?  What do you wish you had done?

I am of course going to make lists for the care of my son and pets, but I know there is other stuff to do.  I almost feel like I did before I had my son.  Like I am "nesting".....

I appreciate any advice that everyone can share...

House?? I just made sure it was good and clean because I knew I wouldnt feel like it for a while...
What to take.. something to walk in.. a good robe or walking gown...chapstick, lotion...
I also fixed and froze several meals hubby liked to make sure he had something to eat .. I really quit thinking aobut food for about... 3 months.

Almost makes no never mind in so far as food for you...cos what you like now and can eat after is going to change...not sure how they do the diets now....guess you need oatmeal and eggs, cottage cheese, have someone who will go to taco bell for refried beans for a few meals...LOL..need chap stick 4 sure and maybe a robe but thats it....oh oh oh tissues with lotion....

We bought our home from an older couple who had installed a grab bar by the potty.  I sure was glad it was there.  If you don't have one already, you might consider it.  It came in handy after plastics too.

What is on your to bring list so far? Lip balm is a must! Also I brought to feather pillows for suport in bed on both sides because the bariatric beds are bigger to accomodate larger people as well and you want this support for added comfort. You're going to do GREAT!!!! You will be in my prayers and thoughts. If you need anyone to talk to email me and we can exchange phone numbers if you like. =)!
