Three months Post Op

I am three months out today! I went yesterday and purchased some clothes to get me through for a few more months. What an experience! I went from a 5X and yesterday for the first time in 25 years I was able to purchase a 1X. I was shocked. My mind kept picking up 5X clothing and my best friend said NO those will fall off you. Well the 3X I tried to put on did fall off as well. She finally said you are trying on a 1X and I was shocked. It is still hard to see what my body is changing to and sometimes I get overwhelmed but I know I did the best thing possible for me!

To all of you who are considering this surgery...do it! You will receive blessings that you never dreamed possible.

I dont see it but I wont argue... I love the compliments!! especially since I spent 25 years and the only compliment I had was I had pretty eyes!!

What a wonderful WOW moment.  I would bet that you could wear some XL's also.  Need to go for it and try something on, or even buy something inexpensive and try it on all the time to see how long it take you to fit into it.  I have gone from a size 24 or 26 to a size 6 or 8.  I still go to the Plus size clothing and I am almost 2 years out.  I always have said,  they also need to give us brain surgery when they to the WLS  Congrats on a job well done!!!!!

Thank you all for the kind comments. I am trying to get the brain in line with the surgery results! It was my brain that got me into this situation to begin with...stinkin thinkin we call it!

Anyway, I appreciate all the support. This is one incredible journey that I am so thankful I am  on. Life is too short to not be the best me I can be!
