Just wondering if someone could fill me in on what I should expect tomorrow for my pre op testing.  I will be driving myself....I guess that's okay.

I am having my surgery with Clarian, but I had the following:

LOTS of bloodwork
EKG
Pulmonary Function Test
Chest x-ray
and I also met with the hospitalist while I was there.

I have heard that many doctors also do a sleep study (I didn't have to do one, since I didn't have an apnea signs), and some GI tests.

Hope this helps some :)

Chest x ray.. upper gi.. (didnt have to have one) I had just had an endoscope and told the doc to write a good report because barring difficulties i was having my stomach cut off... then they did this belly germ test to see if I had the germ living in my belly... I didnt.. breathing test.. nothing was very bad... just time consumeing...WORTH every bit!! YOU KNOW your heathy enough for surgery when you get done with those tests..
