Pam,

Welcome home. I'm glad everything went smoothly. I hope the nausea goes away soon...and the blurred vision. I was fortunate after I had my RNY to not have either problem. When you get your pain med filled, for the liquid stuff, ask the pharmacist to add flavoring to it. I think it usually cost about $3 but trust me, it's the best $3 I ever spent! The taste of that stuff alone was enough to make me want to throw up. It was amazing how much better it went down with a little bit of grape flavoring! Most pharmacies have a long list of flavors you can choose from if you don't like grape.

I hope you have a good day today!

Nature will call when nature will call....i remember it was a few days before that phone rang. Just take some good reading material with you and you will be ok. Glad you are doing great!

Glad you are home!!! Welcome to the Other Side!!! Although I don't know about that dream about being in Walton...boomtown that it is. LOL

It took me several days before nature rang my bell...I think it was 4-5 days post op? Gotta figure, you're not eating anything solid, so there's really nothing there to be cleaned out of your system.  It'll happen though, just take some good reading material because you might be there for a bit.

Sip sip sip...hope the nausea passes quickly for you!!!

Number 2 happened much quicker for me than it did for my wife.  Also, don't be shocked if it's a really strange color.  Good luck!
