Miserable And In Pain (TMI)

I have posted in the past about my constipation but never really went into much detail about it but I am in so much pain this morning I have to vent.  Every since I had surgery I only go #2 once a week or less, then when I do go its a lot like two feet or more of stool and it is extremely painful.  I have spoken to my surgeon about this the last three times I have been for check ups and he keeps sending me to the nuts, who keep telling me to add this or that to soften my stools.  Well I have gone #2 three times this week, I am thinking cool maybe I have found the perfect combination for me.

Well...fast forward to this morning.  I am in excrutiating pain.  Its in the same spot near my groin area as the pain I experience when having a bowel movement.  I am miserable, I took tylenol with codene last night to sleep for a lil bit so I could maybe work today.  I don't know how I will get through the day.  Anyway, I will be calling my surgeons office ASAP and will catch ya'all up after work today.

Jeannie, I FINALLY feel better today after using a Fleet's enema yesterday. Sorry you're going through this, but you know that I feel your pain. Hope you are feeing better soon.

What about trying Miralax? My doctor recommend it to me and really helps

Im sorry you all our going thru this.

I dont have constipation problems.
but the other night i had the worse pains ever it hurt so bad i couldnt stand up finally i made it in to the bathroom and it went away.

I can say that is so painful

I am right there with you all !!!!  If I don't drink a cap full of Miralax every other day or at least every third day I am in big trouble !!!!!!  I hope you all find something that works for you !!!!!

Sorry to  hear you are in so much pain.  I have the opposite problem.  It has gotten better but there for a while I was afraid to go anywhere.  Hope you get feeling better soon or they find out what is causing this.
