Happy Labor Day everyone

Hope you all enjoy the day and hope most of you have the day off. I'm working tonight and Monday night, but at least since my hubby has the day off, I get to sleep well all day!

I am 8 weeks pregnant today and can't believe how fast time is flying. Did you know that my bean is officially just over the size of a cherry? Little known facts! Thanks for letting me share with you.  Hope you all have a great day and are spending time with family and friends.

Melissa, a happy 8 week to you and baby bean! Or should I say baby Cherry? As in Cherie'...aka...Sherri...lol! I hope you both get lots of sleep today.

We don't have any special plans for today. No plans at all actually.That's ok. I can use days like that. Instead of having the baby bean getting as large as a cherry in 8 weeks, I have a hernia that  went from a large egg to larger than a softball in 5 weeks. It's wearing my butt out. I started physically (not just visually) noticing the other hernia last night. It is about the size of a tennis ball. It wa pressing down and causing me to have cramps...kinda like mother nature cramps. Jeesh! I though I said good-bye to those cramps for good 6 years ago.

You guys have a good day today. If you are working, I hope your day goes by quickly. If you aren't, I hope it goes by slow. If you are traveling, I hope you have a safe journey.

I agree Sherri, my baby isn't growing as fast as yours! Wouldn't trade you places. Hope you feel better soon.

Good morning!  I have the day off.....  and I sent my boss a text message yesterday and told her I was taking tomorrow off too!  Gotta make up for the day I lost suffering from a migraine!  Plus - my PCP wants me to have a cholesterol test.  She's still ticked that Dr. E took me off my cholesterol meds.  And I need to renew my driver's license, and get my nails done.  So, I'll be running around tomorrow and cleaning house afterward.

I fell asleep on the sofa late last night, and woke up around 6.  Wally went to bed then, but I stayed up - had an episode of late dumping almost (but not quite!) as bad as the one I had in Chicago.  Ewww...  must have been the fat content in my dinner last night.  I made fried green tomatoes, and of course, I had to have some.  I bet that's what did it.

Then MIL called at just a few minutes after 6 wanting bread and milk.  I went shopping at Wal Mart, got her stuff and some slacks off the clearance rack (size 14 - thank you very much!!), dropped off the stuff at my MIL's and visited with her for a bit, came home, loaded and ran the dishwasher, now posting to you fine people!

Hi Friends....

Happy labor day. I am off one job, but working a 4 hour shift at Sears. That's not too terribly long, though. We may go to the Little Italy Festival in Clinton after work. If we didn't go this year, it would be the first year I've ever missed it, since being with Mike.

I got to go down to Spencer Saturday morning. Terry looked to be holding up well. She's a strong woman, we have to be, don't we? I was glad to get to see her and Dawn too.

I think some folks think it's been 6-7 months now, since Maggie died, I should be getting better. It's kind of the opposite. It's starting to seem real now. I feel like I'm walking around in a fog half the time. My heart hurts alot.

Linda honey - you lost a child - for the second time.  It's never going to get better.  It WILL, however, become bearable in time.  Just know that we all think of you daily, as we do with Terry in this awful time of loss.  2009 hasn't been a real great year.

I am trying to get things finished here at home before i start work this week or at least all the laundry caught up and put away...
Neil and i went to the movies yesterday and saw time travelers wife  ,it was relaxing and then went to wendys for chili   geuss i was a cheap date ..
Melissa i loved being pregnant its the only time i felt beautiful.
Sherry danggone im sorry you are having more troubles..
Christie  a 14 sounds awesome ,kmart has alot of clothes on clearance right now too.

Good to hear baby bean is growing healthy. How exciting! Keep us posted. It is so exciting to wait on the arrival of a baby. You and I are fellow nurses! Sounds to me you are one of the good ones!

Hi everyone, just woke up cuz I have to work tonight and thought I would pop in and say Hi, its been forever since i have been on here, although I come and read once and a while.  I'm glad that some of you were able to go and see terry in her time of need. I hope everybody has had a nice labor day weekend.  I for the other hand have worked mine away. Between the part time job and the real job I tend to stay really busy.  Yesterday was my 3 since my surgery, seems really wierd that it has really been that long.  I remember it like it was yesterday lol.   Well everyone try and have a good day.
