Good morning all....

I can't believe I slept in until 7. I only woke up one time. I should feel great but I feel like someone beat me up. That might have to do with how busy I stayed yesterday though. I made some more of my pineapple salsa and canned 32 jars of it. That should get me through the winter months just fine. lol. Now to decide what to do with the rest of the tomatoes this season. While I was waiting for some jars to process, I took a little bit of the hot salsa and sprinkled some parm on it. Yumm! I think I have my own pasta sauce too. After all that sirring, chopping, and standing...I'm sore! I made sure I didn't lift anything. Since our stoptop is glass, I can just slide the pots to remove them from heat and not have to lift on any of them.

We were going to go to the small track at Kitley for their 1 hour figure 8 race (and te other races). It's suppose to be scattered thunderstorms with a 40 percent chance of rain so...I don't think I want to deal with that so I may just sit in my chair most of the day and play on MySpace. What ever I end up doing today, I know I'll be taking it easy. My tummy is demanding it today.

We don't have any Labor Day plans. Do any of you?

Well... the girls and Scott and melissa were going to come take down the pool and put it away for the winter but since it obtained a leak they just took it down and cleaned up the yard.. (sometimes there is a good thing being old). They have a Family reunion today for Melissas family then we have a picnic of sorts planned for Monday... if it rains on Monday.... I think an indoor picnic is possible..

With Scott getting ready for the WLS journey... we will be having some last trips and him beginning the protien drink cycle...I am praying for a quick date...

feels good to sleep in...i was at the VA with my dad till about 1030 pm he fell down and being almost 81 best to be safe...he was fine....still not sure about his ankle myself..I will keep an eye on him and watch him though...he lives near by...(where we had that baby shower) 
i am having a cook out monday...I use to have huge parties but got out of it...with my CHANGES i have dealt with...I just chill most holidays any more.. only a few will even be here monday....compared to what i use to do....family and thats about it...

BIG DATE for the bon fire party Oct 17th those are always a blast....this is year 14 or 15 i am thinking maybe 13....LOL..I will post more about it and invite a bunch of LOSERS...lol....I love to do this and dress up too...ahhh cos i am such a kid at heart...my yearly Jello shots...LOL...i am such a lush....

I'm awake - but barely.  I slept from 4 yesterday afternoon till midnight - then up till 3, and back to bed - just got up about 10 minutes ago.  I had the migraine from hell.  So - I feel really sluggish today.  Will probably veg out.

We had talked about going to Tibbs Drive In for the triple feature - but don't think we'll do it with the weather.

Yum!  Your pineapple salsa is soooo good.... We love it.  Don't you just feel a sense of accomplishment when you see those jars lined up and cooling?

No other plans - except I seriously need to get my nails done - ugh.  And, I think I need to go and do some clothes shopping.  Everything is too big on me.  I have only one pair of slacks that "semi-fit", and they are real baggy through the legs.  I can't go to work looking like a ragamuffin much longer...  so... an excuse to shop!

It was nice getting to see Linda V yesterday and seeing Jana, while stopping in and visiting with Terry and saying my respects for Lyn! I am keeping you Terry as well as your family in my thoughts and prayers! Remember, as we talked about- we will all be here Tuesday and thereafter, when you think you will need as much extra support to get through those grieving moments, come here and visit and allow us to help, k?
