OMG, I'm dying here. (Warning, TMI!!)

Take normal constipation issues and add prenatal vitamins with extra iron and what do you get? A miserable mommy who can't poo and in turn is puking! Anyone know if we RNY'ers can take Miralax? I gotta get things moving through there. I strained so hard to go that I ended up having a lot of rectal bleeding when I was done. Sorry for TMI!

I take colace and it works wonders.  Hope this helps.

I take Colace and use Glycerin Suppositories (sp). Good luck ! I know you are miserable.

Wowsers - sorry Melissa!  Constipation issues have never been a problem for me since surgery - I go enough for both of us!  Guess that means I'm full of **** !

Christie, the only problem is that his face doesn't turn purple and I'm sure mine was purple or blue last night! ;o)

Melissa, I take Miralax on a regular basis and my surgeon said it is fine for me to take.  Hope the Miralax helps you out soon !

Thanks Jamie. I hope it helps too. Both my boys use it off and on, so hoping it becomes my new best friend too (once it's been okayed by my surgeon and OBGYN.)
