Hi everyone! I am so excited, I have 29 days til I join the loser's bench. I have my nutrition class thursday and then next week I have my appt at the hospital and then I have my "surgery clearance" appt. Is there anything I should get or be doing? I feel like I am forgetting something major. Any advice would be great.

Where are you having your surgery??  Also, I replied to you in my post, with an email if you want to keep in touch off the board :)

If you are using caffine now would be a perfect time to start weening yourself off of it.  Its a hard habit to break so having 29 days to do it in will be nice.

That's about the stage that I cut back all sugars and really worked to get in my water and vitamins. It is a tough adjustment after surgery, so if you haven't already, start now.  Your surgery will be here before you know it!!

I cut out sugars and caffeine almost 6 months ago as it was a requirement by Dr Mattar's office.  All doctors don't require this?

No Stacy, they don't all require it. Many docs don't require the liver reduction diet. I honestly went from initial consultation to surgery in about 6 weeks, so I barely had time to adjust my lifestyle.

I could have had mine that quickly if I had lost the required weight, but I had a relapse in there so lost the weight a little slow....
