Tuesday
Good morning!
I wasn't certain if I'd be able to start this thread or not. It's been acting up some here at work so I never know....
Anyway, I hope you all had a good weekend & Monday. Bill &I had an enjoyable...but cold...weekend up at Indiana Beach with Chistie & family. I think Bill is starting to get a little better at putting a campfire together. lol. He has NO desire to take the title of 'fire meister' from Ellen's dh Dana though! With the chilly wind blowing, the rides weren't that enjoyable. Bill & I did the 75 minutes ferry ride on the Shafer Queen and I thought I was going to freeze. After that, Bill wanted a nice warm nap and I wanted some nice hot soup! We were thrilled that we had no mishaps. The roads were good. Set-up & break-down went well. So RV-wise, it was also a good trip. Because of the temps, we were 'able to' ensure that the furnace heat worked well. With each of us trying to show our Iron Chef talents, we had two excellent days of 'good eats' too! There was a permanent RV site across from where we were that Chris & I fell in love with their lighting for their awning/porch area. The lights changed colors in different patterns (such as tracing, flickering, etc). I hope Bill thinks to google them!
We have a medical issue or two that has popped up in my family, so please say a prayer for us. Also, please keep my oversees penpal in your prayers.
huggs to all...

Good morning Sherri and everyone. It's Tuesday. I went and worked out last evening for the first time in a few weeks. I have been afraid to because of the spotting I was having with the pregnancy. It felt great to get back at it and I'm noticing that even at the peak of my workouts, my heart rate doesn't go as high as it used to. I guess that would be called conditioning, huh?
My pants are getting tighter already. I'm told that baby #3 will do that to you. Craziness!! I'm still losing weight so I know it's not that! Little bean must be a growing bean.
I'm volunteering tonight at the health clinic in Avon. I love going there as it makes me realizes just how blessed I am! Hope everyone has a great day.

Hi all....
It's a new month. Somehow that always feels like the chance for a fresh start to me. September is a nice time of year too. I love the autumn weather coming in.
We are going to Medieval Times in Schaumberg, IL this week for Mikey's birthday. It's early, but we got a special on the tix for this weekend, so that was how we could afford it.
hugs,
Good afternoon everyone...
I am off to a pretty good start this week. I am learning to not sweat the small stuff and to rely on God a lot more. It is hard for a control freak lik me. But I know I can do this with his help!!!
I am thinking thru my WLS success and realized that even if I only am losing 2 to 3 lbs a month now, it's still a loss and I am still moving the right direction. Can't be mad about that. I am blessed and feel very honored that I was able to have the surgery and have very good results and great health. I never really thought I could get to 175 and now I am looking at 155. That's a WOW moment for me for sure. I have to keep telling myself I weigh what an average person should weigh now!!!! Hard to believe and understand. I just want to thank you all for being my cheering squad, my mentors, my friends, and my OH family. Just like Jamie Dukes said, "we are all in this together!" We will achieve success and support each other all the way!
Huge hugs and thanks for being awesome people!

It is hard to look at our current weight and think we're now in the "normal" range. I go to the gym and see the people who are morbidly obese and want to share my story. I feel so blessed to have been along this journey too.
