I will keep your son and you in my prayers and thoughts.  I understand about the heart murmur, I was told I had one when I was pregnant with my daughter 27 years ago, they also say I have mitro valve prolapse.  I have had no issues, I do understand about being scared about not knowing if maybe there is something wrong.  Turn it over to God, he doesnt put more on us then we can handle.

Hugs

Jeannie honey, I know how worried you must be right now and I am so sorry you are going through this. As a mother I do understand your feelings and we tend to worry about the worst case scenario. You are doing all that you can by getting on this and taking every test that you can for your son. I am sending prayers and positive energy your was sugar because that positive energy is important. Your son is young and strong and he WILL get past this. Believe me when I say that I have that womans intuition thing, and at times it is so strong and I believe that everything will be ok for you. He will be fine and the doctors will get this all taken care of. If you need me I am here for you. Message me and I will give you my phone number so you can call if you just need to talk or cry or scream or whatever.
All of my prayers for you and your family!!!

Jeannie, the nurse in me says all will be fine. The mom in me, is scared with you. I'm glad that they are investigating, but if there is any question at all, take him to see a pediatric cardiologist. I can give you the names of a few of my favorites if you'd like. Please keep us posted.

We have an appointment at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon for the results of the xray and eco.  I will post soon after.  I will say this though, the lady that just did the eco said I can see a cold in your lungs and had to lay him on his side to do most of the eco, so I am hopeful that it will just be a bit of swelling in his lungs that is pushing on his heart.  That problem would be easily fixed, get rid of the cold!!

Thank you so much everyone for sharing my concern.  Your support is greatly appreciated.

i wonder if he could have pneumonia...
Dakota (my son) use to get it all the time in the summer (strange time of year to get it especially when we lived in the carolinas where it doesnt get cold)
and they would do tests on him and his lungs would be a mess
just sayin'
