I KNOW i've asked this before
Pam,
I sit behind a desk and push papers and talk on the phone all day long. I took one full week off, my 2nd week I worked 1/2 days and my 3rd week I was back full time. I can honestly say going back 1/2 days first was a good choice for me because it allowed me to work a little and go home for a nap. I think I rushed it but I didn't have enough time available to be off with pay so I did what I had to do.
Huggs,
Frankie

Pam, I had my procedure on a Thursday and took the entire next week off, returning to work fulltime on that following Monday. I have a sit down job answering a telephone switchboard so, there isn't a lot of physical activity but, I was so pooped that I wish I would have taken longer off. I just didn't have the leave time available.
I work minimal part-time, so it didn't matter. It did take 5 weeks for me to feel well enough to do much but the routine I was told- protein, Water, & walk
and of course- rest! I had a slight problem at the hospital before I left, so it too alittle longer for me. I just can't do Lovenox.
Good Luck sweetie!!!!

I'm a SAHM/College Student. Quite honestly, I felt like poo til about 6 wks out. Just didn't feel like doing much of anything. Course, I also had a stricture at 4 wks out. Once I hit 6 wks and was able to intruduce fish/chicken/turkey, I felt LOADS better. Went from forcing myself to eat 1 meal a day to being able to eat 3 meals a day and get my fluids with no trouble.
