Thank you for your kind words and prayers everyone. I know I will find something and I have always been an upbeat person but, its just hard right now because I'm still shell shocked and the fear of not having that weekly paycheck is really scary. I know God will see me through. I guess I will just have to start pushing those Avon orders. :)

I'm sorry to hear you were laid off. It is happening so often, especially around here, it seems. I'm glad you have found a light in it, though. I did as well, when I was laid off in January. It has allowed me to go back to school, and to have my surgery. (as I had put both on hold for 3 years due to working)
Hopefully, the economists are right, and things are starting to turn around, and we'll all get back to work soon.

Johnna,

I know you are scared right now!  Honey I know it won't be long and you'll be looking back wondering why you stressed yourself out the way you did.  Have FAITH - GOD has a plan for you!  He has something wonderful in mind for you.  Take a deep breathe.  Give yourself a couple of days to rest and regroup!  Get your resume in order and start putting it out there.  You'll find something wonderful!

Huggs,

Frankie

SOOOOOOOOOOO SORRRRRRRRRRRRRRY!

Just read your post.  I was shocked.  Let me know if there is anything that I can do.  I will keep my eyes and ears open for something that might come along.  I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Enjoy your time with your family.

Can you call your husbands employer to see if they still have any openings?  Just a thought.

Thanks Kim. It was a shock although I was not totally suprised. Bill is already taking my resume in to his work today because they have a temp receptionist and are not satisfied with her. He spoke with the manager yesterday and she told him to get her my resume because they want to fill the position with a full timer that has business experience as well as clerical. Since I have my business degree I would welcome the chance to do so much more than I was at HCE. I am so capable of more and was never given the chance to shine there, all they wanted me to do was answer the phone. Bill's company is a good place and it sounds good but, I just hate for both Bill and I to be away from Terre Haute and working in Indy since my 15 yr old daughter has so many activities here in band and in high school. God will see me through this and I've always said that its not what happens, its what I choose to make of it. :) Positive energy is most of the battle ya know.
Keep in touch and we will have to have lunch when I am in town someday.

For sure.  Make sure you keep in touch.  We could meet at the park when you are in town and have lunch and walk.  Just let me know.
