Columbia City area/ NE Indiana

I don't know anyone personally that had gastric bypass surgery.  I am 5 months post op and have attended a montly support group of St. Vincent in Fort Wayne.  Those are casual acquaintances but no one living near me.

Anyone know of someone in Ft Wayne, Warsaw, etc. that I may be able to pair up.  St. Vincents is a 2 hour drive, so that isn't reasonable for me.

I was born and raised in Columbia City, unfortunately now I live in the Indy area. I know there is someone on the boards here from that area, but her name escapes me at the moment. Hopefully she'll reply.

Hi, I am from Ft wayne. I have not had surgery yet. My date is sept 29. I don't know if you are looking for someone that is post op, let me know. I haven't gone to any of the support groups in fort wayne yet. I started at clarian bariatrics and went to the support groups there. Then I switched to st V's and haven't  been told I have to go so I haven't. I want to but haven't gone yet. Let me know if you want to talk some more.

I think maybe Marion is closer then Ft Wayne, not sure.  We have a support group that is held the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, we have one tomorrow night.  They are held at the YMCA.  You are more then welcome to join us, we are not just acquaintance at the support group, some of us meet outside the group to work out, go for walks, or just hang out together.
