So its been a month now. I did great at first but my weight hasn't changed at all in the last 2 weeks. I'm getting in my meds, vitamins, close to my water and I exercise every day. If the scale doesn't go below 228 soon I may blow!

Am I doing something wrong?

Sorry for the rant but I thought you guys might understand.

Breathe in, Breathe out! It's ok. You are in that, "My body is in shock and it's gonna shut down briefly." You will resume losing again soon. Just keep getting everything in and exercising. We totally understand and you can come here anytime. Hang in there. We've all been there.

Breathe Ayreka.  It's your body's way of catching up with all the changes.  We've all been there.  Pretty soon, you'll get on the scales and see a drop!  It's common and happens to us all.

Ayreka my entire weight loss journey has been that way.  Each month I have three weeks of a stall and then the fourth week I lose.  I think if you track your weight loss you will begin to see "YOUR" weight loss pattern and then the stalls won't be so hard mentally.

Its been right at 13 months since my surgery and it appears that this month will be the same, I hadn't lost an ounce since my surgiversary (3 weeks ago****il this morning and poof I am down a pound.  If my pattern continues like it has in the past by this time next week I should be down another 3 or 4 pounds making this months total weight loss 4 - 5 pounds.  At this rate I will be at my goal weight by my 18 month surgiversary!!

It all adds up to be amazing numbers in the big picture.  Try to stay focused on what you have lost and not on what you are yet to lose, its much more fun that way.  This journey can be an emotional roller coaster so check in with us often, chances are anything you can run up against someone here has experienced it along the way.

Peace and Love to ya,
Jeannie

Rant all you like :)   We are here for you!!

UP your fluidsand UP your protien.   Also muscle weighs more than fat.
Shake things up a bit.  Change your exercise.  I keep getting stuck in ruts where I do the ssame thing and then I get frustrated.   Rattle your routine up some.  Add something.... take something.  But the upping the fluids and adding more protien usually workds for me.
Blessings to you all, Leah
