Good morning everyone!
Well..I had planned to either try to talk Bill in going to the fair today OR playing it lazy and lounging around all day. As it turns out, Bill had his own plans for the day. LOL! I may have to struggle to get him to go to Castleton for dinner, but other than than, we sure are flexible with our time! One of the stops includes WalMart, so I'll be happy...haha! I think I'm gonna try to run into Deals while we are so close to it. I don't 'need' anything there..but I love looking and you just never know!
My sil sent this to me and I thought I'd share it with you all. Enjoy!

Recently, in a large French city, a poster featuring a young, thin and tan woman appeared in the window of a gym. It said:
THIS SUMMER DO YOU WANT TO BE A MERMAID OR A WHALE?
A middle aged woman, whose physical characteristics did not match those of the woman on the poster, responded publicly to the question posed by the gym.
To Whom It May Concern:
Whales are always surrounded by friends (dolphins, sea lions, curious humans). They have an active sex life, they get pregnant and have adorable baby whales. They have a wonderful time with dolphins stuffing themselves with shrimp. They play and swim in the seas, seeing wonderful places like Patagonia, the Bering Sea and the coral reefs of Polynesia. Whales are wonderful singers and have even recorded CDs. They are incredible creatures and virtually have no predators other than humans. They are loved, protected and admired by almost everyone in the world.
Mermaids don't exist. If they did exist, they would be lining up outside the offices of Argentinean psychoanalysts due to identity crisis. Fish or human? They don't have a sex life because they kill
men who get close to them not to mention how could they have sex? Therefore they don't have kids either. Not to mention who wants to get close to a girl who's skin is all scaly and smells like a fish store?
The choice is perfectly clear to me... I want to be a whale.
P.S. We are in an age when media puts into our heads the idea that only skinny people are beautiful, but I prefer to enjoy an ice cream with my grandkids, a good dinner with a man who makes me shiver and a latte with my friends With time, we gain weight because we accumulate so much information and wisdom in our heads that when there is no more room, it distributes out to the rest of our bodies. So we aren't heavy, we are enormously cultured, educated and happy. Beginning today, when I look at my butt in the mirror I will think, "Good gosh, look how smart I am"!

Good Friday Morning everyone. I'm still anxiously awaiting the results of my second HCG level from the doc office this morning. I need to know everything is ok.
Went to the support group last night. Didn't talk about being pg, didn't want to face "those looks". Besides, Dr. Evanson was there talking to all the preops/post ops about issues/questions, etc.
Working tonight, then my sister is having a cookout tomorrow and my entire family is coming to town for it. That's when we'll spring our news on them. I'm sure they'll be shocked and knowing my worry wart mother, she'll be afraid for my health. Please pray that they are excited too.

I truly hope they are happy for you. With my first two pregnancies, I was still in college, and my mother's first words were not congratulatory. She just seemed to sigh and say, "Just make sure you finish college." It was so much fun to tell her about Maggie, because I was done at that point and working. She was just happy for me!

I overslept this morning but im back on track now.
My lazy Lucas as i teasingly call him has joined high school football so its off to get his physical get 3 haircuts and school supplies for 3 and back to get ready for the colts game tonight.
Went to be with LeeAnn last night and rode with Amy and Tracy and Peggy came .
Went out todinner afterwards so we could spend sometimes her.
Sherry walmart is my kryptonite lol seemslike i have to go there every other day at least.

Loved the mermaid/whale story! I am off to Wal-mart too after I get my hair done. I am thinking about going to wolf park tonight to see the wolves and hear their story. We might go see Julia and Julie tomorrow. Too bad! won't have time for the dreaded housework this weekend either! Breaks my heart. Yea! Right! Have a great weekend everyone!

Had a great time at a yard sale, preview last night. Got lots of good deals. My daughter loves to spend my money

Lunch on Monday, then off to St. V's for Megans surgery.

I have a busy day getting things done her at work and going to pick green beans after I get off work, I will be canning what I got the other night and what I pick tonight.
I have homework to finish and Steven and I have a date for tomorrow night, in Van Buren they are having their annual popcorn festival. I have been after him for 10 years to take me, and he looks like now we are going. I am looking forward to spending sometime with him. we have had much of that lately
Lisa and LeeAnn it was wonderful to spend sometime with you two last night. Amy it was great meeting you. Lucas and Kelly looked so cute together. I am a good time just hanging out with some good friends.
Guess I better get back to work, everyone have a wonderful weekend. Really busy, may be Monday before I post.
