any support groups in Evansville

I'm across the river from Evansville in Ky and I'd like to talk with people who have had the surgery. I am thinking VSG, but I would like to talk with all to help me decide. Thanks ---John

I know there is one, but not sure when or where. Call the St. Vincent Bariatric Center and ask them. They'll be able to give you all the info. Good luck as you start the journey.

There is a St. V support group at the YMCA community center (across from the main Y kind of across from Lowes) on the 4th Tuesday of the month. They start at 6:30 or 7 (I can't think of it right now). I had the DS with Dr. Inman last year and go to them pretty often. Everyone that goes to the meetings, to this point, has had the band or RNY. I'm the only one who has had anything else. There might be someone else at the next meeting that is planning to have the DS, but I'm not sure about the VSG.
