Tuesday
I thought I'd do my usual note before I left for work since I know I have a ton of things to do when I get there. That feels terrific! I got to do more actual lab work yesterday than I had been able to do in the past 2 years.
Because of a little 'mishap' last weekend, we will be staying in a cabin this weekend instead of our RV. Our baby is in the shop and it's going to take a few weeks to make her better. That's frustrating, but that's life. Every year we tend to stay in something different. lol.
Well..hope you all have a good day today!

Hi all,... how are you doing? I'm TIRED this morning!!! I hit the snooze until 7:27am, and then had to skedaddle to get to work on time. As it was I got here at 8:05. Not too terrible, considering I did get a shower in!
It's hard to believe school starts here in two weeks. Mikey's not happy about it at all. School's not his favorite thing, even though he likes to see his friends. School's not my favorite thing for him either. I dread going back each year, for the phone calls and conferences. Funny, the stereotype is parents are happy to send the kids back to school. My family's the opposite.
My grandkids start school on the 13th.. the girls will be in kindergarten and Jayden will be in the first grade!! I have been helping them gather new clothes to wear and they are so excited about the new adventure. Because the girls are soooo small the Dr wanted to hold them back another year to help them catch up on their growth but they are so smart.. WE Might give them a second year of kindergarten if needed but we are not holding them back from starting this year!!
I gotta go get showered... I start work at 10 this morning..
Best to you and yours,
Linda Kay
I had a good cry this morning with my daughter, this is Arian's first day of kindergarten. It does not seem like he should be old enough to start, but he is. Steven and I have had a blast (especially me) in shopping for school clothes for him, and when we were in Kentucky over the weekend I took him and let him pick him a pair of shoes out for school. He thought he was so big because I told him that he could pick them out. Arian told Mandi this morning because she was crying when she dropped him off, he said its ok Mama I am a big boy now. I need to stop or I am going to start crying again. LOL.
Hey Tracy you ready to walk another 4.5 miles again, my legs were wabbley Sunday, and a little sore, but we had a wonderful walk. I also lost 6 pounds from the weekend, so I am going to go to the YMCA tonight and work out, since it has rained up here all last night and kind of looking like it may do it again. I was going to try to mow the grass if it is not to much.
Guess I better get back to work, beginning of the month we are busy.
Everyone have a safe and wonderful day.
Hugs
Peggy
Evening everyone!
What a day this has been. I woke up this am a little late and so my day has seem rushed. Well that is until the storm of storms and the power going out. Andrew (my son) was home sick so I had to entertain him for about 3 hours while we waited for the storm to pass. When it did we went outside to see the damage. Trees were down in our neighborhood, trashcans blown down the street but thank gosh nobody was hurt.
Our respite worker who was supposed to start working 15 hours a week with our son decided she didnt want to work weekends which is the only time we needed her. We both work and I have classes during the week. He is in kindergarden and we try to stay home evenings to help him stay in a routine which is important for him. She cited the reasons of needing free time and wanting to keep him during the week at her mom's daycare...which to me speaks of not wanting to work one on one with him at home where she was supposed to. Oh well the search continues for someone *****ally has a heart for special needs children. Wish me luck!
