Insurance approval...

I've been out of town in Indy for our church's big assembly for the past 6 days.  So, when I returned there was a huge pile of mail.  On the very bottom of the pile was a letter from my surgeon letting me know that they'd sent a request for approval to my insurance!  YAY!  I've been checking the mail like a mad lady for the past couple of weeks. 

Now, I'll just keep up on the protein, walking, support groups, and daily vitamins and play the waiting game a little longer, hoping to hear from BC/BS Federal very soon!  Perhaps I'll even call them and check to see if they've received it yet!

Allissa, can't hurt to call and check. I found out completely by accident that my surgery had been approved. I called them regarding something else and the lady on the phone said, "Oh by the way, congratulations on your approval for surgery." I was flabbergasted.

By the way, I was reading Central Christian Church's newsletter and thought I saw your name. I have visited the church a couple of times and loved it. If that is you, then congrats and looking forward to meeting you sometime soon!

Yep, that's me!  I love that church...it is such a wonderful, welcoming, inclusive place to be!  
However, I haven't told anyone at the church about the surgery just yet.  (for professional reasons) 
We'd love to have you come back.  I'll be preaching next Sunday. 
I'm looking forward to meeting you as well.  We should definitely get together sometime.
