Tuesday

HA HA HA I am the firsdt one to post.  LOLIt is just after midnight and I just finished up some homework that I thought was due until tomorrow night, duh  (blonde moment, I hope this does not offend anyone). My class starts on Tuesday so I have until midnight on Monday. 

I am still not sleeping really well, I have been taking Tyneol PM and I still do not sleep through the night.  I slept in my bed for the first time last night since my surgery, if was hard but itfelt good.  I can only handle the recliner for so long.

I am planning on taking a real long walk today, I got a few short ones in yesterday, but no where near what I should have, since I had so much homework.  I will not wait until the l;ast minute next week.

I have been doing pretty go about getting my meds, liquids,protein, and walks in everyday.

I think I am going to try to get some sleep, talk soon.

Peggy its good to see you posting, and glad to hear your feeling a bit better.  I am sure that each of us is very curious about your surgery and how things go for you so I thank you for sharing with us.

I have had just enough time each day to mostly lurk lately.  For those of you who don't know I am keeping my grandkids (3 of them anyway) until school starts.  Its been a challenge and kudos to the mom's of young children who are reading this today. Its been stressful to find someone to watch them while I work.  I don't seem to have much energy lately, I see my surgeon Thur so I will discuss this with him but chances are I am just worn out from working full time and caring for three small kids.  Add that to the worry of my son being away in S Carolina and it makes sense that I am tired lol. 

I am sorry that I missed the clothing exchange, but fully intend to make the next one.  I just need  a bit more notice to request off. 

I am thinking to take a girls vacation for a couple of days when the grandkids leave, something close and cheap as the kids have taken a good chunk of my spending money keeping them entertained.  Does anyone  have suggestions of something close and cheapish.

I took my 3 five year old grandaughters to the Indidnapolis zoo and spent the entire day there!! I loved the butterfly house! Of course I have a grandparents membership I paid 140.00 for a year and can take them as much as I want as often as I want. Friday I took the grandsons..

I dont know how young yours are but the park is always a good idea. Picnics...

Hubby and I are going to VA today to get his brain scan and EEG but there is nothing wrong with his brain....I Know it isnt epilepsy that hey are thinking... there is another condition that also carries all his symptoms..

I do like false teeth.. wish I had them sooner... food doesnt taste as good as it used to and chewing right now is a thing of the past... heck I cant even bite!! Splitting a sandwich at the zoo yesterday with Melissa was funny both us us gave the bread to the birds.. ate 1/2 of a tomatoe slice with out fingers pitched the lettace and had four pcs of the tenderloin.. But we were both pretty full... heheh

I love Nashville Indiana. It's just the thing for a girlfriend trip....lots of shops and things to ooh and ahhh at. It's not very expensive as long as you don't buy everything you see. It's also not that far from Indy so I always feel like I'm getting away...without having to drive forever to do it.

It's not the sort of place I'd bring kids....and I'd only bring males if either they like to browse through shops too, are willing to pay for your purchases, or don't mind sitting and enjoying the weather while you go look (Bill is this one).

I am hoping to wake up soon.  LOL  I am at work and ready for the day, I think. 

I didnt sleep well and I think it was because I am doggie sitting for my sister Sally.  She was in the hospital over the weekend.  Dr. Gupta said her pouch is irrated and sore because she has been eating too fast and not chewing well.  It caused her to have heaves and dehydration.  So, I have her Molly.  Molly likes to sleep on my pillow beside my head.  That's not good for me.  LOL

Good morning!

Well...I'm at work! I've been here since 5. I had the alarm set for 3:30...but I've been awake since 1. Oh yeah...this is going to be a long day! I finally got my email box deleted out here so now I can catch up on a few other things (in-between talking with co-workers that is).

I found out that I'll be training a chemist next week. He hasn't done actual lab work in at least the 10 years I have known him. Hmmm...add that to me being on desk duty for so long and we ought to make quite a pair! Haha!

Where do you go to school?  My assignments are also due on midnight Monday's with new classes always starting on Tuesdays :)

I am working on my Master's through Indiana Wesleyan University.  When I was onsite (classes) I had classes on Thursday night but I have now gone online and my classes start on Tuesday.  I blamed the pain meds.  LOL.  At least this is an accounting class so I know something about it. 

Where do you attend classes?

That's awesome Peggy.  I am working on my Bachelor's through Ashford University.  My classes are Tuesday through Mondays.

Hi all! I set the alarm for 5am to go swimming this morning, but it just didn't happen. I was too tired. Oh well, I can walk tonight, and tomorrow's another day.

It's hard to believe school will start in 4 weeks here in Vigo County. I'm not ready for it. I don't think Mikey is, either. He's starting 6th grade in August. I think he's a little nervous about it, but excited. That sounds pretty normal to me.

Tonight is week 3 of the 4 week grief support group I'm going to, through my church. It's been pretty helpful so far.
