Update on me

Hi all,
            Just an update on my journey from RNY back in nov 14th 06. I havent posted in a long time but i read the post everyday and gain alot of information from all of you. At my heightest weight i was 620 lbs in 1998 and had to get weighted on a feed scales but that was ok. On nov 14, 2006 i had RNY with Dr. Huse and it has been a wild ride, going from 535 lbs on my day of surgery to today of 334.5 lbs with a total loss from my highest weight  285.5 lbs which is a lot of weight which leaves alot of flabby skin, so on july 21st next tuesday i will be having plastic surgery 1 of 2 to be done by DR. Sando at ST.VINCENT CARMEL. This will be a tummey tuck of about 25 to 30 lbs and after i heal from that i will have my 2nd surgery on my thighs which will be another 40 to 60 lbs, so after i get all done i hope to be down to 250 lbs. I want to thank sherri for helping me get a picture up, thank you all for reading.

Bob, I will be praying for a successful operation and quick healing.  Your story is amazing !!!  Let us know how your doing as soon as your able to post again.  Doesn't sound like I will be seeing you at support group this month but maybe next month.  Take care !!!

Bob,

Wow...you have done super fantastic! I know it's going to be wonderful for you to get all that excess skin removed. I am surprised that they aren't going to do an abdoplasty instead of just a tummy tuck so they can remove the excess above the belly button also. I can't wait to see the new & improved Bob!! Please try to make it to a future clothing exchange or other activity...don't make wait until the St. V's Christmas party!!!

It is good to see you ! Congrats on all your progress and all your "WOW" moments. Many blessings on your upcoming plastic surgeries, please have your wife and family to keep us posted friend. If you need a surgery angel to call your family and update for you just give a PM and let me know, I would be more than happy to your angel. After all you were my elf last year !!
