Insurance Website

St. V's insurance specialist gave me a website to go to and see my insurance "general requirements" for WLS.  I can't remember the website. It was really comprehensive and listed just about every insurance you can think of - does anyone know?

I don't know the website, but I would still call your insurance and ask the particulars about your plan. It can vary with employers. I have Anthem, for example. Alot of people have Anthem, but different employers purchasing Anthem can put different stipulations on the plans they purchase. So Jane Doe's requirements with Anthem might be different than mine were. Good luck!!!

I totally agree with with Linda V. I know that if you contact them they will send you a copy of the medical policy that they go by and also go over any additional stipulations that your employer may have placed on your policy. I hope this helps and good luck!

I agree...I just talked with my insurance co. today (BCBS federal) and they were very helpful in providing all of that info.  Now there is no question what they want from me for pre-approval.  :)
