Orientation
This is the informational session I believe that you're referring to. Mine (with Dr. Evanson), lasted several hours. We met with an insurance person, dietician, nurse, and surgeon. Then each person got the opportunity to meet one on one with the surgeon. Problem for us was that we were one of the last ones to arrive, which meant we were the last one to meet with Dr. E. My advice, get there early, you'll get out earlier. We left about 8:30pm. But I'm sure it has a lot to do with how many potential patients there are.

I had my meeting with Dr. Inman and there were several there. I think we started at 1pm and didn't finish till about 5pm. I agree.....get there early. The first hour was taken up with more paperwork so you might want to bring someone with you or a book to help pass the time. Also, you might want to bring any medical test or notes that pertain to your obesity. It isn't necessary by any means, but it made me feel like I was helping to speed along the process in getting the ball rolling for insurance.
