Any WLS people (esp. DS) interested in meeting in Bloomington, IN for monthly dinners??

Hi all....
I am putting out feelers to see if there might be fellow pre-op, post-op WLS people (especially those who have had the DS) who would like to get together on a monthly or every two month basis for dinner, fun, fellowship, and support in Bloomington, IN.  I live in Crane, IN and the dinners in Kentucky and Indianapolis are just a little too far for me.  I was hoping that there might be others in Bloomington and surrounding areas who are looking for some fun and fellowship who would be interested in getting a group started.

I had RNY and I live in Seymour. I love driving to Bloomington once in a while, especially now that things are in bloom.  I would probably attend something just let me know when and if I can I will be there.

Please let me know also.  Maybe if I can get someone to stay with Lyn I could come.  I have attended the support group from St Vincents that they have their monthly and they have a large crowd so maybe some of them would be interested too.

I'm in Bloomington! I don't yet have my Lap-Band date. I've completed my six months with my PCP, had my appt with Dr. Ray and met with the NUT. Now I just wait for Ashley to call me with a date.

I am glad to see so many responses.  It sounds like we are the melting pot of WLS.  I was just looking at the calendar and was thinking of setting the first dinner for May 16th or June 6th.  Any preferences?  For you Bloomington-ites....Any suggestions on good places to meet that might have something that different WLS people can eat?  I appreciate hearing from everyone.

Oh, btw....I am in no way, shape, or form a leader....this will be our group.  So all input is a wonderful thing.
