Sunday Daily Post
Good Sunday morning my fellow hoosier losers. I am so excited today, yesterday we went to Brown Co State Park to celebrate my MIL's birthday. Me and my son walked the two mile path that is up and down huge hills and I didn't even have to stop and rest. At the half way mark I wanted to rest but my son said "come on mom you can do it" thats all it took was a bit of encouragement. This time last year there is no way I could have made it even half way, it feels so good. My endurance has changed so much that some days I am amazed at everything I can get done in a days time.
McDonalds was packed yesterday with everyone being out to enjoy the weather and also we had our relay for life run. I worked really hard, I think we broke our record for sales at breakfast time. I love to be busy like that because I didn't have time to look up at the clock a single time.
I have been eating really well and have exercised four days in a row but the scales haven't moved a smidge. Some days when I get up and get on the scale I swear I want to punch holes in the wall. Have any of you really seemed to struggle to get the last twenty pounds off? I really want to get to maintenance stage so I can have some descent clothes, its making me half nuts.
Have a Great Day, Peace and Love to you all.
Jeannie

33 lbs lost prior to surgery!
Good Morning!
Jeannie, your still within your 1 year window, I don't suspect the last few pounds will take too much. You may need to up your calories a little bit if your not getting at least 12-1400 calories in a day. Contact your nut first but that was what I was told to do if I stalled for long periods of time. After a year out it can be a little tougher to get the weight off, I'm struggling with the last 25-50 lbs (my surgeons goal for me and my goal for myself) and it's tough but I'm almost 2 years out, come july.
I hope everyone is doing well. Things here are okay just a tad hectic and I don't know why. I've just been super stressed and not feeling real good. The depression stuff is really getting me down but I can't really pinpoint the exact cause. It's driving me nuts (even more than I already am haha).
Anyways thats all for me this morning. No big plans just get ready and go to church probably, we have a combined service this morning and that's a little scary for me because my anxiety has been nuts.

Good morning all. Hope everyone is doing well this soggy Sunday morning. I have to leave for work in a few minutes, but wanted to say hello. Also, keep me in your prayers over the next few days. There are some big changes going on here at the casino, and I am contemplating a change. I have been offered another position, in a different position, with comparable pay, and worse hours. But, the worse hours will change within a couple weeks, after all my training is done, so hopefully I will be able to take this position, and adapt to the change. Just keep me in your thoughts and prayers in this time of trials.
Have a great day! Enjoy it!

Good morning Jeannie, Misty, LaChelle, and all those to follow!
Lazy Sunday - but wasn't yesterday just beautiful?
Hubby will be busy today - his mom is being released from the nursing home so he will pick her up and take her to her apartment and get her settled in. Found out her medications have been phoned in to the pharmacy and will cost a whopping $1300!! This is so ridiculous. The elderly on fixed incomes don't have that kind of dough. Hell, I couldn't even afford that. We can only hope that her Medicare Part D Rx coverage will reduce that considerably, or it will be decision time - get the medicine, or pay her rent.
Just going to be hanging out, doing some laundry, reading, and watching good movies. That's what I like to do on cool rainy days.
Have a great day everyone....

Good morning all! Yesterday was beautiful and I so enjoyed spending a little time outside. Zachary is still sick, up 3 times last night. I'm tired! I'm too old for this stuff. Tomorrow, my oldest has a urology appt, possible surgery coming up. Please keep him in your prayers cause he's scared to death.
Tuesday I have 2 interviews, so please pray that all will go well there and I'll be working again before you know it! Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Hoosierland!
I am still fighting through some pc issues. I'm hoping I'll have them taken care of soon. I'm also fighting through the effects of the antibiotics I'm on so I'm not able to sit here very long at a time. I wanted to hop on and at least say good morning though. Today is day 3 of not being able to have my protein drink (because of the instant decaf coffee I put in the mix), decaf ice tea, or tomatoes. There's a few other things too but these three are the ones I miss. I'll be able to get the bloodwork done for those other tests in the morning.Yay! Yay to get them done so I can have those things again...not yay to getting stuck repeatedly. I also have my endocrinologist appt in the morning. We'll see how much he raises my synthroid this time. I got the results in from the labwork pulled at work for my physical. I'm going to need to send a copy to my pcp. There were 8 things out of range.
Christie..durring Bill's mom's last few months, she was put on a med that was really expensive. The doctor called the company I think and ended up getting it for free for her. If the Medicare doesn't pick up the tab, you may want to go to each pharmacutical's web site and see if they have information for getting their drugs at reduced cost. I know at one time...and probably still do...Lilly's did. It'd definately be worth a try. Several stores also have programs to get meds at reduced costs....most of them at $4 each (Walgreens, Walmart, Target, etc).
Have a good day everyone!
