Dr. follow up

Dr. Gupta typically does a 1 week (you usually get your drain tube removed at this visit), and 1 month follow-up. After that, I think it's at 3,6,9,12 month post-op and then annual. You'll have a dietician appointment before each doctor visit.
It all depends on how you are feeling & what kind of work you do on how quick Dr. Gupta will release you to go back to work. Talk with her about it at your 1 week (if you have a desk job...). I wasn't on desk duty when I came back to work and my job is typically pretty active so I took a full 6 weeks off.
