GOOD MORNING..sunny and beautiful out that is a good thing...now for spring to stay put....I am thankful I live here right now and not in NEW YORK where my sister is getting a foot of snow...

Sherry what sort of spasms do you have? i get them and i swear it feels like a gall bladder attack so i have a pill i have along with pain meds and keep it in check...i notice it more when i have gone potty more than just once a day...my body knows what is normal and anything over that OUCH...and i know it...been having then since i was 3 months out...maybe 4 months i know new years eve it was the first time...in 04....

YUMMY sugar free oatmeal...i am gonna pass i do not do instant well at all, but now i will cook some and dirty a pan...i am so high maintance...and look ed had to do a liquid diet for 2 days and he refused to do much of anything sugar free even jello....so i had some that was regular and i am sorry but i notice no difference and just as soon have my sugar free...and with the pudding i have to have the kind that is cooked....another dirty pan...but sugar free is fine with me...and now if only pretzels were good for me...better than some things but still love my carbs....i had some sugar free jelly beans and no thanks i have to do sugar ones and do less of them and thats ok...my body does not do will with alot of sugar free items....it knows and i also can react as if i had too much sugar...sugar free ice cream is another thing my body just will not allow it so 2 table spoons of real ice cream and i am fine....guess since i was a manager at LINDNER's and know a good ice cream that is also part of my problem...


we have been doing some updating i so can not wait for my kitchen to be done and made beautiful and useful..it is so not arranged to be functional.....and so big i want an island and blah blah blah...want want want thats me...i need a new dish washer and i thought well i will wait and see where what ends up being and what colors i should go with...i think i am gonna stick with white...one reason back in the 70's i worked at White Castle and i have cleaned all the stainless steel i plan to ever ....LMAO ....so i need to go dish washer shopping YAHOOO...about exciting as washing machine shopping...LOL

My intestines behaved until that problem I had October of 07. Every since then, you'd think I had triplets in there..or at least a half a dozen mice al trying to get through the maze of intestines. They move all around and are very noisy doing it. They have me on meds for it (and pain meds). I've told the GI how sometimes what he has me on isn't enough but he didn't want to up the dose. Usually, if the meds isn't keeping it under control, it's just for a few hours..a day at the most. This has been going on since Friday though and it's starting to wear me out. Oh..I was told that anything above 3 x a day is abnormal. I've been going about 20 times a day since Friday. whew! No wonder I'm exhausted!

Good morning. Not much to say today because I'm having a really blah kinda day. Good thing I've got therapy today.

DH woke up feeling like crap too, hes got pressure behind his eye and it's swollen kind of bad, affecting his vision too soooo we're off to the doctor for him today too.

Today just kicks off a week load of doctors appointments pretty much. I have an appointment pretty much every day this week, 3 in Indy, great fun.

Busy at work this morning, at least for 2 more hours, then off to Carmel for my Nut. appt and then off to see Dr Huse, I am going to talk to him about possibly getting an revisment.  We will see. 

Thanks Tracy for being my co-pilot, I am happy to have the company.  It is a long drive by yourself.

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, I had a busy one, but got some family time in yesterday, and my husband was happy he got to go tool shopping, I sit out in the truck and start my first assignment in my Master's degree. Woooohooooooo, I never thought I would continue my education this way, I thank God for the opportunity to do so.

Good morning all!! ,
   I'm having a good monday morning. Of course the reason is that I only have to be at wor****il 1:15 today and then I get the rest of the day off. After of course, I go to my gyno for an exam (fun, fun). I had that ablation procedure a month after my RNY because I started my cycle 2 weeks before and it never stopped. 6 wks is just entirely too long. So, my doc said lets check it out and do that procedure. My age is one reason and perimenopause is not far away but, I tell you haveing that procedure was the best thing I did for myself (except for the RNY!)

I had the grandbaby 2 days this weekend. Both Fri and Sat. He is such a doll and so easy to have around but, the terrible 2's are creeping up (ha-ha). We went to the mall and did some shopping and I bought GET THIS... size 16w jeans! That's a wow moment. I got two pair but only one fit for now. The others were still too tight but, I did find about 6 pair in my closet that I will be in very soon! Why are they no consistant with clothing sizes? Of course seeing as I use to be a size 26/28, I will go with a too small size and aim for glory. And 16w is someplace I have not been since I was a teenager. We don't have to talk about how long ago that way. 

I've spoken with the Girl Scout council today and they took my number to check out my request and then will call me back with their answer as far as donating some cookies so Kim B. and I can get a basket put together.

I'm glad Lisa will be coming home and hope everyone else has a good day today.

Morning all! It is sunny here....i am at work trying to play catch up on some work befor I get to be off to recoup from surgery after tomorrow!  The weekend was so busy! Sarah's team placed third in their catagory which is so freaking awesome for a first year team! I am so proud of them! They were in shock! the top two teams were teams they have never competed against so they held their own pretty well!  We then spent the day in Lafayette shopping. Sarah's birthday and Christmas money were burning a hole in her wallet! She loved Gordman's. Very affordable and really cute stuff. I even bought a few things for Chicago! First clothes I have bought for myself in almost 2 years! It was fun! Not alot else going on...taking Dale out for his birthday dinner tonight and then all the lovely pre op prep to do tonight! Joy joy!  Hope everyone has a great day....be safe if you are traveling and prayers to those who are in need.

  I have been gone for the past few days ,so trying to catch up on all that's happening here.I went to a Woman's Retreat in Lafayette, with my church Sister Chicks. It was so awesome,inspiring, challanging, fun & I really needed the time away. 
 Sorry there has been some sickness going on,prayers going up for you to feel better soon! there is a horrible flu bug going around again.Sherri- hope that isn't what is biting you!!
 
  We have been spending a lot of time at my SIl Karen's. She is sleeping more & more, & they have upped her pain meds. Their sis from N.Carolina is here, so we are spending time togehter
& DH is trying to keep Kenny busy.
  Angie & Gail- count me in on the Bob Seger concert- woo-hoo!!!!!Did someone say dancing in the aisles???
   Hope everyone has an awesome day- I have tons of laundry, cleaning ,etc. to do, so gotta get at it!!!!!

I'm going to IU Bloomington this w/e to see Mama Mia! on stage.  I absolutely love, love, love that movie.  I've watched it over and over a dozen times and sing and dance around my living room.  I don't know how I will be able to sit still in my seat and keep my mouth shut through the performance.  They may have to throw me out!

I love that movie because it takes me back to my teen years in the 70's when I use to have a pair of high platform shoes  just like Meryl Streep wears in the movie and my boyfriend had long hair like that and my mom hated it.  She wanted him to get his hair cut. Those were the days.
