Hello
Hello,
There is so much sadness on the boards these days it is difficult to find the words. I have typed, deleted, typed, and deleted. I just can't find the words to express the depth of how much my heart breaks for Linda and her family. I can't imagine what it would be like to lose one of my children. My prayers are with you and I'm glad you are going to participate in a support group.
Terry, My prayers are with you and Lyn too. You have been their so faithfully and lovingly for Lyn. But you do need some pampering for yourself. I've had a pedicure one time and they feel wonderful. I do have the address for Seton but I don't know Lyn's room #. I need someone to pass it on to me so I can come visit both of you.
Melissa, I'm glad you called Dr. E today and made arrangement to get those things done on Monday. I know of other patients that were in and out of ER and hospital due to nausea and can't keep food down but I don't know if they were on Lexapro or not. They dehydrate very quickly so the IV's will be good for you.
Sherri, I am praying that things go well for you at Mayo. I have had lots of intestinal problems and complications in my life. I had a colostomy for a while. You will get the best of care at Mayo.
Tracy, I hope your daughter gets to feeling better. Those mommie times are special when our kids get older. My boys are 28 and 31.
I am looking foward to spring. I have a small woods out behind my apt. and a huge field. I have lived here for 5 yrs. now and although I don't own the property, I am an avid bird & nature animal watcher and I love nature and all the animals. I meditate out here on my patio and watch the sunrise. There is so much beauty to be found in the sights and sounds if we look and listen closely enough for it.
I have been watching my woodchuck, Mabel, for 3 yrs. now. She has been hibernating for 3 months and 1 week. She came up a few days ago but she didn't see her shadow and went back down to her den. Haven't seen her since. But I've seen lots of robins. Looking forward to seeing my hummingbirds again.
I'm off to Bible Study now. Have a good evening.
hugs,
Kathy

Lyn is in room 216 at Seton. I am planning on going home tomorrow evening and coming back Tuesday. Need to go home and tend to some business.
I am also looking forward to spring. I planted some iris and lilies last year and kept thinking how great my flower garden would look this year after I had surgery and would be thinner and could bend down and work in it instead of letting the weeds take over. I am hoping there will still be times I can enjoy it.
Terry
Thank you. After close to 17 months of this, I am more than ready for this to be resolved. I had a really rough weekend with it and this morning hasn't been much better...so trust me when I say that the 17th can't get here fast enough to suit me. I just have this deep fear that Mayo won't be able to take care of it either. I'm not sure mentally I am prepared for that. So...I'm just trying to keep faith that they will.
As you said, there are alot of things going on right now with several people. While I hate to see these things happening to my friends, it has helped me to keep in mind that no matter what, I am alive and can enjoy life...even if it is a different one than what I was living or care to live.

I am grateful for all of you who prayed for her. I know there is so many things that we are all praying for and I appreciate you including Jessi.
Kathy, we need to get together some time and meet. I get to Kokomo once in a while. I always love meeting OHers.
Huge hugs,
Tracy
