Jodi Update....

I did see her on Tuesday around 9:30 AM.  She looks good.  She had a little vomiting earlier in the morning but was OK.  Her stomach was glued and taped together and was in good spirits. Her and I talked about a monthly dinner get together on the west side of Indy.  Lets try March 1st at 5 pm at Paragon restaurant.  It is at Girls School and Rockville road on the west side.   If that works for people it can be the first Saturday of the month. Good food and great choices.  Plan on splitting a meal if you are not very far out.  The serving size there is BIG even for non surgery people. I will post more info again closer to the time E

Hey E... Jodi told me about the March 1st dinner. I don't know if you saw my 'surgery scheduled' update... I had put down Lincoln Square for that date for my 'last supper...again'...since my surgery is March 3rd. But it sounds terrific to try somewhere new!! So we'll plan on trying out the Paragon!  I appreciate you going with it to get our first 'regular' monthly dinner organized! I think the first Saturday of the month sounds great too (easy to remember) but the months that the clothing exchanges happen...we may want those months for it to be on the east side since the exchanges have been scheduled I believe for the 1st Saturdays of the month..and they're just off East Washington. We go to Lincoln Square fairly often..in fact, going there tonight with my mil & her bf. So..Cindy..if you want to meet over there some night for dinner, just post it a day or two in advance. I'm sure you'll get some takers! I know Floyd & Brenda like it there too. Sherri

Sorry I did not see your update.  I did not mean to step on the date you choose.  

E... Trust me, it was the surgeons that chose that date, not me! If it had been up to me, it would had been just around the corner (huh Gail? ) but unfortunately, I have to wait on February to get here and pass first. I just made it the Saturday before so that more folks would be able to make it. I think it's terrific that you went with a date. No one else came forward and suggested something. And we don't mind driving over to your neck of the woods at all. You have certainly put some miles on your car coming to the east side! Best of all? We get to try somewhere new! Yay!!! I came accross this site while looking for the Paragon.
