Caffeine Withdrawl
I'm on day three of my withdrawl...but the headache is lighter. I still am a little bitter that I have to give up iced tea - it seems so harmless but I know I'll be better off without it and my teeth will be whiter too.
I have 59 days left until my surgery. I'm fairly proud of myself. I wasn't scheduled to give up my iced tea fix until the first of March but I got too lazy to make a new batch of tea on Saturday and already had a Sinus headache so I figured I might as well suffer through it now.
Good luck on staying off of caffiene! I know you won't regret getting this out of the way pre-op. Have you tried decaf tea? It's what I buy at home.

I know what you are going through. I went through the caffeine withdrawl stuff last Aug when I was diagnosed with ulcers. It seemed like I had a headache for a week (and I couldn't take advil for the headache either)...but it does get better. I really don't miss the caffeine now.......................................... I miss the advil more
Stick to it, you'll be glad you did.

It's mentioned twice, but try decaf. I LOVE tea and make decaf made with Splenda and its really pretty good. I do have a cup of coffee in the mornings now and then, but usually drink my herbal teas. You will find after your surgery warm things to drink are very soothing. You can get all sorts of flavors. Mint tea seemed to help me the most, especially with the nausea I was having afterward. Your pouch will love you for it. Its just like putting a heating pad on sore stiff muscles. :) Good luck!
