dr inman
That sounds reasonable. She is one of the few in the state that does DS and she said something about wanting to get to the point of being able to do it laproscopically. She felt that with it being an open procedure it scared some folks away from it.

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...
Lyndia, Long time, no see. How are you, girl?

Hi Annette,
I'm alive. I'm still battling the abcess and leak, but have progressed from TPN to gtube feedings now. Unfortunately the liquid nutrition I'm on makes me nauseous and gives me diarreah, and I still don't have a lot of energy, but at least I'm not in the hospital.
I go back for a CT scan on Feb. 18th, and if there is no improvement in the abcess, then another surgery may be in store for me. Yuck. I'm just really over all the complications and ready to be "normal" again, ya know? It really sucks. I knew about the 3% complication rate before I had surgery, but you never think it'll happen to you, right?
Take care!
Ooooooh.
I was approved for my surgery in December but was informed that my surgery date would be April 30th. I was pretty frustrated, to say the least. That being said, I do know that Dr. Inman is worth waiting for. I was unaware of her plans to be on hiatus for most of March. That certainly explains why I have to wait so long.
