Dr. Evanson and Pain Mgmt ??

Those that used Dr. Evanson, did he use the On-cue (On-que) pain management system.  I just spoke to a friend that used Dr. Mattar and she got that system and had a great experience.  I have done some reading too and it seems like a much better way to control pain rather than drug us to the hilt.   Any input would be great.

I had lap-band and was in the hospital for less than 24 hrs, only used liquid vicodin for pain, which was more than enough.  For RNY though, I don't know, I suggest you call his office and ask.

Kim, I had Dr. Gupta...but I think most of the surgeons at St. V's follow pretty similar guidelines in most things. I had RNY...and the liquid loratab was also more than enough for me. I was also in for ~24 hours, went home, and after about 5 days was also on nothing strong than a tylenol. Sherri
